The Highlands and Borders give me the opportunity to feel and to breathe the quiet and stillness around me, to touch and be surrounded by it's history, I can feel the splash of a fish in a loch, the quiet industry of a bee on a flower and am humbled by the monuments to the lost as I am to those of it's creation.

Nick was born in Edinburgh. He currently lives and works in Fife and travels regularly to the Borders, Highlands and Islands. He has a passion for history, architecture and nature, and in his drawings, tries to capture the very fingerprint of what he sees.
